Office 2010 or 2007 does not open .doc or .docx files automatically

using double click

Many would have noticed after installation of office 2010 or 2007 .doc or .docx or .ppt or pptx ..ect. will not open using double click. we might get an error saying that “word has stopped working” this would be annoying us very badly.

Steps to correct the error

open Microsoft Word

1 Click File or the office button on the left top corner

2 Click options

3 Click the go button next to manage in the bottom left corner of the pop up window

4 Uncheck the send to Bluetooth and click ok

5 Enjoy and have the word corrected
